How can you create a video that is really successful?
The video you send us is the most important part that will determine if you will be the lucky content creator who gets to fly to Mexico! So what are the extra tips we can give you?
- Prepare your speech before recording: You will feel more confident while speaking in front of the camera!
- Place your phone or camera on a tripod and start filming yourself, checking your framing and lighting first!
- Lighting always makes a huge difference in the quality of a finished professional video, so consider it one of your top priorities! Do your best to get your footage in the morning or evening, when the light is softer.
- Make your video in landscape format, (is aesthetically more pleasing and professional looking).
- The location of your video can make a big difference in how it turns out! If you decide to film in an enclosed environment, choose a room that is uncluttered, with a neutral background, and make sure there are no background noises that disturb the audio recording! We want to hear clearly what you have to tell us!
- If you decide to film outdoors, check for light and that there are no noises that will ruin your video. Choose a time of day that is quiet: No one will interrupt you and you can try and try again as many times as you like.
- Remember to be natural: It may seem difficult at times, but all it takes is a little practice. If you are feeling stressed or anxious, it will show in your video. Take a few minutes to relax and clear your mind before starting!
- Don’t stop until you record something you really like, or else you’ll end up releasing a video you’re not truly happy with!
