Sarah Harlow<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Who is Sarah Harlow? Can you share a bit about your career journey?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I consider myself an artist, with my camera as the primary tool for my craft. My photography journey began 15 years ago<\/strong>, focusing on weddings and family portraits. About a decade ago, I opened my first studio, which I managed alongside my full-time office manager until last year. My specialty has been boudoir and intimate portraiture, and my studio was bustling with multiple sessions each day. I found great joy in capturing women and helping them see themselves through my lens<\/strong>\u2014beautiful, strong, and confident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women traveled from near and far to work with me, and I frequently hosted themed sessions to create unique experiences. One of my most cherished experiences was hosting a paint night at my studio. During this event, women were painted in neon body paint by my team. Then I photographed them in black light on my set, resulting in exceptionally striking images. I thrive on inspiration and love being behind the lens. Over the years, I\u2019ve earned several awards<\/strong>, had my work published in numerous magazines and books. I even launched my own magazine for content creators<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is it like to be both in front of and behind the camera? How do these roles differ for you?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For years, I found solace behind the camera, but it wasn’t until seven years ago, after I got sober, that I began to use photography as a personal artistic outlet for my recover<\/strong>y. As I started capturing myself, both in moments of joy and vulnerability, I discovered that others resonated with these images too. I began to believe that the most compelling photos emerge when you capture the raw, unfiltered emotions from someone’s core. It\u2019s in these moments of genuine feeling that the most powerful and beautiful images are created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A year ago, I started my own content creation journey. This past year has been incredibly enlightening for me. Being primarily in front of the lens has taught me a great deal about my preferences as a model, what resonates with consumers, and the complexities of the content creation industry. Additionally, I’ve dedicated time to mastering video production, editing, performing, and expanding my skills<\/strong> and understanding in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I see myself as my own muse. From the way I dress and style my hair to how I carry my body, I view myself as a living work of art. Just as every individual is a blank canvas, I embrace the idea that I am constantly shaping<\/strong> and defining my own artistic expression.<\/p>\n\n\n

Is there a photography niche you\u2019d like to explore? We know that the adult industry offers endless opportunities for creativity!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I am passionate about capturing powerful images of beautiful, confident, and strong women, whether through creative portraits or intimate, raw moments. Additionally, I am eager to explore and expand my skills in adult film production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What inspired your focus on artistic nude photography? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

An image is a dance between light and shadow. Mastering this interplay is what elevates a photo from good to extraordinary. From the start of my career, I’ve been captivated by photographing subjects in their natural state. This fascination comes from my love for using light and shadow to craft the vision I see in my mind, with clothing often feeling like a distraction. While I appreciate incorporating minimal props to enhance my artistic nude photography, the essence of my work is about transforming the human form into art<\/strong>. Moreover, I\u2019ve always felt a sense of freedom in being nude, as it aligns with my appreciation for the natural state of being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abMy hard time was what fueled this brand. I started turning myself into art, and then my clients. Showing them how fucking beautiful they are, even in their dark times<\/strong>. Showing them that they are not alone. We are all one.\u00bb
